Your role

We seek a Cloud / DevOps Engineer join our versatile Software Development Team. Your job is to develop and maintain our CI / CD system and to support the Fluidit Development Team to build, test and deliver software in an efficient and secure manner. Additionally your work would include developing and maintaining the tooling for our cloud and on-premises operations.

Key technologies in our DevOps and cloud stack include Gitlab and Gitlab CI, AWS, AWS CDK, Docker, Gradle and Maven.

Who you are 

• You have at least 2 years of working experience in the following topics
  • Developing CI / CD solutions with Gitlab and Gitlab CI
  • Operating scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS with Docker
  • Managing on-premises Docker deployments
• You are an independent problem-solver and learner
• You are a teamplayer and proactive in your communication
• You understand Agile software development processes
• You have a Master's Degree in some related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or Mathematics
• You have interest in critical water and energy infrastructure, city planning and environment

You will be highly regarded if you, in addition:

• Have experience in promoting cybersecurity in software development processes and in the software lifecycle
• Have experience in distributing desktop software in variety of ways
• Have experience in Java or Javascript software testing tools, especially AWS/Swing UI testing frameworks
• Have experience in building CI solutions for native code to different platforms and architectures
• Have knowledge about NetBeans Platform AutoUpdate features and OSGi framework
