Your role

We seek a Backend Developer join our versatile Software Development Team to develop scalable SaaS products. Your work would include developing backend services that would be deployed both to AWS and to customer's premises. In addition you would be participating in the integration projects where our services are deployed on-prem.

Key technologies in our backend stack include Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, Liquibase, Hibernate, OpenAPI, OIDC, Docker, MariaDB, AWS Fargate, AWS S3 and Redis.

Your role can be as diverse as you are. We want our teams to represent a broad range of backgrounds and experiences.

Who you are 

• You have at least 2 years of working experience in the following topics
  • Developing scalable REST backends with Spring Boot
  • Developing scalable SaaS applications with microservices architecture using Docker and AWS products
  • Administrating a Linux server
• You are an independent problem-solver and learner
• You are a teamplayer and proactive in your communication
• You understand Agile software development processes
• You have a Master's Degree in some related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or Mathematics
• You have interest in critical water and energy infrastructure, city planning and environment

You will be highly regarded if you, in addition:

• Have experience in working with GIS tools and geographical data
• Have experience in utilizing OpenAPI specifications in web development
• Have experience in using IaC frameworks such as AWS CDK
• Have experience in DevOps processes with Gitlab
• Have experience in developing single-page web applications with Typescript, React and Material UI
